Chantilly Residents Directory is a private reference to Fairfax County and Virginia public-record sources, indexes, and historical directory collections. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with a government office, court, library, or custodian.
2. Lawful Use Rules
Use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or material reached through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
This site is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.). Nothing here, and nothing any linked search tool returns, is a consumer report, and none of it may be used to judge eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.
4. External Services
County and state portals, library collections, sponsored tools, and other linked services maintain their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their content, availability, fees, or data handling.

The original text, design, logo, and layout of this site are protected by copyright. Linking to any page and quoting brief excerpts with attribution is welcome; republishing full pages or systematically copying content is not.

11. Virginia Law
Virginia law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Fairfax County agency-record requests are subject to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, Va. Code §2.2-3700 et seq., including §2.2-3704; that law does not override court, voter, vital-record, or confidentiality restrictions.
